Official: Barcelona announce injury boost for Monaco clash | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Wednesday unveiled some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that winger Ansu Fati is now fully fit and ready to feature once more.

The name of youngster Ansu has of course positioned itself front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last week.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the 21-year-old had ramped up is recovery from a foot injury suffered in pre-season.

Ansu linked back up with Hansi Flick’s in-form squad in group training last week, with a view to an imminent return to competitive action.

And, as alluded to above, on Wednesday, the former Brighton man has moved a significant step closer to precisely that.

As per a statement across Barcelona’s official social media platforms:

‘Ansu Fati is fit and in the squad for Monaco-Barca.’

The Blaugrana are set to kick the club’s endeavours on the continent for the season into gear on Thursday night, when they make the trip to France for a Champions League meeting with AS Monaco.
