The New York Red Bulls have confirmed Emil Forsberg has been placed on the injury list.
Earlier on Saturday, the club labelled the 32-year-old midfielder as questionable for the clash with Philadelphia Union.

NYRB have now confirmed Forsberg suffered a lower leg injury and is expected to miss four weeks of action.
According to MLS rules, a player on the injured list will remain unavailable for at least six games, including Leagues Cup matches.
