Maren Mjelde is no stranger to success in the WSL.

Having lifted six league titles and won the FA Cup on four occasions during her spell with Chelsea, the experienced veteran was snapped up by Everton during the transfer window from Arna-Bjørnar in her native Norway.

That decision already looks to have paid off as the 35-year-old put the Toffees 1-0 up against Aston Villa, using a delightful technique to find the back of the net.

That was her first goal for Everton, and it looks like the Merseyside club have done well to secure the services of such an experienced veteran, as Mjelde has made 178 appearances for her country, scoring 20 goals.
