A talkSPORT pundit has said that Chelsea’s football under Enzo Maresca is so boring that fans have every right to boo them.

The news comes off the back of Chelsea only managing to draw 2-2 at home with Ipswich Town on Sunday, a team who are destined to be in the Championship again next season.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now eyeing 21-year-old attacker from Spain this summer!

One BBC pundit has pinned the blame on the players for the draw on Sunday, saying that they have to take a long hard look at themselves after that poor performance.

And head coach Enzo Maresca has also picked out two of his players for making some mistakes in the game which he believes was not good enough and cost them.

Overall though it was so poor, and blame really must be shared between the head coach, the manager, and those who have built an unbalanced squad at Chelsea that severely lacks quality experience and balance.

There has been a lot of criticism for Maresca after the game, especially when he picked on Chelsea fans for booing during the game.

Pundit Gabby Agbonlahor is the latest to rip into the Italian coach.

The football is boring!

Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: “I think when it’s not working they should be able to have a voice. You look at this Chelsea team, £1.2b this team was created, Ipswich just over £100m, and you’re losing 2-0 at half time at home when you’re desperate to get back in the Champions League… Can you blame the fans?

“Chelsea’s football – when you watch it, it’s so boring. Players staying in the exact right positions they’ve been put in, no freedom. When it’s not working, I don’t blame the fans when they’re moaning. Stop playing from the back when we’re not getting through.”
