Nilson Angulo prefers remaining with Anderlecht over La Liga transfer | OneFootball

HLN are reporting that Elche are keen on signing Anderlecht winger Nilson Angulo. The Spanish side, who are back in La Liga this season, have already had one big rejected by the Belgian side for the young winger. However, the side are said to be keen on returning with another bid. Angulo himself appears ‘99%’ sure that he will remain in Belgium this season with Anderlecht. The winger told the paper ‘There are no negotiations with other clubs. My mind is on Anderlecht. I’m happy here. Although, of course, you never know in football’.

Angulo has been in impressive form to start the season. The 22-year-old Ecuadorian has scored two goals and grabbed one assist in six games for the side, already close to what he managed last season. In 39 games twice and provided three assists. Angulo has been with the side since 2022, when he joined from LDU de Quito. Then a teenager, the winger had scored six goals in 34 games for the side. Angulo has also been capped at senior international level by the Ecuador national team.
