Nicolas Jackson loaned to Bayern München | OneFootball

In one of the last moves of the summer transfer window, Bayern München has secured the signing of Nicolas Jackson.

According to the statement from the Bavarian giants, the Senegalese international arrives in Germany on loan from Chelsea with the forward set to wear the number 11 shirt of the German champions.

"I am very happy to be part of this great club. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world. Everyone knows the name of the legends who have played here", said the player in his first words as a Bayern player.

Signed in the summer of 2023 from Villarreal, Nicolas Jackson scored 30 goals and provided 12 assists in the 81 games he played in the blues' colours.

The move away from Chelsea had previously been in jeopardy with the Blues close to calling the transfer off. However, Jackson has completed his Bundesliga switch late in the window.
