Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is reportedly upset with himself but there has still been no public comments made by him.
The news comes after Chelsea went down 2-0 against Newcastle United away from home on Sunday lunch time in a crucial game for the race for Champions League football next season.
Chelsea needed to win this game as much as Newcastle did, but a first half sending off by Nicolas Jackson did not help their cause. Enzo Maresca has admitted that Jackson now needs to learn from this situation moving forward.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher now believes that Chelsea have a big problem after this defeat with just two games remaining of the season and the reality being that The Blues need two wins to guarantee a place in the Champions League for next season.
Jackson being sent off made it very difficult for Chelsea to go on and get anything from the game, but ironically they actually played better when he left the field.

Even still, it was very silly from Jackson and he needs to learn from this.
Journalist Rahman Osman reports that Nicolas Jackson is very upset with himself for the sending off against Newcastle. He wanted to fight for the team and didn’t want to be bullied by the Newcastle backline but the sending off incident is regrettable.
Very odd that he’s telling a journalist this rather than saying it in public and issuing some form of apology to Chelsea fans and his team mates. But maybe I’m just old fashioned!
