The Blues allowed Jackson to train away from Enzo Maresca’s main team as they prepared to take on Bayer Leverkusen today.

Chelsea signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer, pushing Jackson down the pecking order.

He was the third-choice striker at the FIFA Club World Cup and didn’t help his cause by picking up a needless red card.

The 24-year-old scored 13 goals and provided six assists last season, but his profligacy plus poor disciplinary record forced Chelsea to acquire reinforcement.

Now, Chelsea have set a £80 million price tag on the Senegalese international centre-forward, and they are speaking with several clubs regarding a transfer.

Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in the Chelsea striker.

Other clubs could enter the race for his signature before the close of the window.

Why Bayern is the best move for Jackson when he leaves Chelsea

If Jackson is to take the next step in his career after Chelsea, Bayern offers the ideal platform for development and long-term success.

Unlike the relentless scrutiny at Chelsea and the tempo of the Premier League, the Bundesliga provides a more forgiving environment for attackers to refine their game.

At Bayern, Jackson wouldn’t face the same weekly pressure he did at Chelsea. He’d have time, something young strikers often lack, and space to grow.

Also, Bayern offers him the chance to study under one of the greatest strikers of this generation. Harry Kane, at 32, is still world-class, but he’s not Bayern’s long-term future.

Jackson could learn from him directly in the one area where he currently falls short, ball-striking.

Being Kane’s understudy now could mean being his successor in two years. Bayern need a transition plan for life after Kane, and Jackson fits the mould.

At Newcastle or Spurs, he must hit the ground running.

At Bayern, he can grow and then take the mantle at one of Europe’s biggest clubs. That pathway makes Munich the smartest destination.
