Plus now it has been revealed that all of August’s Newcastle United Premier League matches are to be broadcast live.

The away matches at Aston Villa and Leeds, plus home to Liverpool sandwiched between those two.

This takes us up to the first international break at the end of August, with details awaited on the September matches in the Premier League, Carabao Cup and Champions League.

The first Newcastle United match after the September international break will be Wolves at home in the Premier League, which will be 3pm on Saturday 13 September unless moved by the broadcasters.

Newcastle United official announcement – 9 July 2025:

‘Newcastle United’s Premier League fixtures against Liverpool and Leeds United in August have been rescheduled after being selected for live television coverage.

The Magpies will now welcome reigning champions Liverpool to St. James’ Park on Monday, 25th August – two days later than originally planned. That game will kick-off at 8pm BST and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

And the trip to newly-promoted Leeds will still take place on Saturday, 30th August as initially set, but will now kick-off at 5:30pm BST instead of 3pm BST. That clash at Elland Road will also be shown live on Sky Sports.

Any further changes to United’s 2025/26 schedule will be communicated at the earliest opportunity.’
