The Toon teenagers trailed inside five minutes at the Magpies' Little Benton Academy through Kareem Ahmed's strike before 16-year-old forward Michael Mills, who joined United from Port Vale last summer, levelled the clash six minutes after the restart.
Kacey Wooster, who arrived at Newcastle's youth set-up from Southend United in the summer of 2023, fired the hosts ahead before the hour mark, netting his first goal at under-18 level in the process, before the 16-year-old striker grabbed his second goal of the afternoon from the penalty spot in the closing stages.
Chris Moore's side, currently situated in seventh place of the division, will face an away trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, 1st March (kick-off 11am GMT).
