However, Ramos will be sidelined for about three months due to an ankle injury, which means Kolo Muani is stepping up to handle all the goal-scoring duties in the striker position.

If PSG struggle to convert their scoring chances throughout the campaign, the rumors of a new striker will grow louder. One name linked to the capital club is Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.

The Magpies aren’t planning to part ways with him anytime soon; they’ve already started talks to extend his contract beyond 2028. PSG will be closely monitoring Isak, who is putting in some impressive performances with Newcastle.

Moreover, The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards also reports that Isake is understood to be wanting an improved contract at Newcastle. Nonetheless, the report doesn’t reveal what new wages the striker is looking for that will satisfy him and his camp.

Isak could also be taking advantage of any PSG rumors to use it as leverage in these talks. Whatever wages he wants, it’s likely the player could receive it in the French capital; still, it will be interesting to see how the Premier League side navigates the situation.

Isak joined the Premier League club in 2022 and has since made 73 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing six assists.
