Croatian media outlet Sportske via FCInter1908 drew a comparison between Luka Modric and the 21-year-old star.

Zlatko Dalic’s side thrashed the Czechs 5-1 in their latest 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

And Sucic was among the best on the pitch.

Indeed, he partnered with Modric in the midfield double pivot and delivered a fantastic performance.

Sucic’s display impressed the domestic press, who labeled him a ‘gift from heaven.’
