Denzel Dumfries is likely to start on the right flank for Inter Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that Matteo Darmian will likely begin the match on the bench tomorrow.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have to work around an injury to Benjamin Pavard as he decides on the right side of his team tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri coach could go with either Yann Bisseck or Matteo Darmian at the back.

Meanwhile, on the right flank, Darmian and Dumfries are both possible options.

But according to Sky, the Inter coach is inclined to go with Bisseck in the back three. And Dumfries at right-wingback.

It is not just on the right that Inzaghi has to work around an injury.

Carlos Augusto is also likely to be absent on the left. That means that the most natural cover for Federico Dimarco will not be available.

The versatile Darmian is capable of playing on either the right or left flank.

And this will play a role tomorrow, Sky anticipates.

Inzaghi will go with Dumfries on the right and Dimarco on the left. That will leave Darmian – as well as Tajon Buchanan – available to take over on either flank as substitutes.
