After selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG in the winter transfer window, Napoli are now searching for a high-profile replacement. Reports say the Serie A club is targeting Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho to fill the void left by the Georgian winger.

Kvaratskhelia made a big impact in Italy, scoring 30 goals and providing 29 assists in 107 appearances. Finding someone to match that level won’t be easy, but Napoli believe Garnacho has the talent and potential to step up.

Over the last few months, reports have linked Napoli to Garnacho; however, with the start of the summer months, that rumor has fallen by the wayside, and now they have another player in the Premier League that they are eying to replace what they lost in Kvaratskhelia.

While it’s not Alejandro Garnacho, Napoli are reportedly targeting another Manchester United player: Jadon Sancho. Earlier this month, Sancho confirmed he was leaving Chelsea following the end of his season-long loan at Stamford Bridge and is set to return to Manchester United.

With Sancho’s future not being at Old Trafford, Sky Italia reports that Napoli will try to sign the Englishman this summer.

ESPN reported, citing a source, that Chelsea would have to pay a £5 million ($6.7 million) penalty to break their original loan agreement with Manchester United, which included an obligation to buy Jadon Sancho for around £25 million.

The outlet also reported that Chelsea asked Sancho to accept a significant pay cut—he currently earns over £300,000 a week—to fit within the wage structure at Stamford Bridge, but talks broke down.
