Elite Development Squad striker Divin Mubama has joined Championship outfit Stoke City on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old joined City’s Academy last summer from West Ham and enjoyed a fruitful 2024/25 campaign in blue.
The striker made his senior debut in City’s 8-0 FA Cup Third Round win over Salford City at the Etihad Stadium. Mubama was one of five goal scorers at the Etihad, doubling our advantage on the 20-minute mark.
He then went on to make nine Premier League 2 league phase appearances, scoring 10 goals and assisting four to help City top the table ahead of the play-offs.
His best return was in February when he found the back of the net five times and teed up his teammates twice, earning him the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
A few weeks prior, Mubama made his Premier League debut for the Club. He featured as a substitute on 63 minutes in City’s 6-0 win at Ipswich.
In the final few weeks of the 2024/25 season, Mubama played every minute of City’s PL2 play-off journey and scored in all four games.
A brace against Liverpool in the Round of 16 completed City’s 2-1 comeback before another decisive extra-time strike helped City turn around a 3-2 win over Arsenal.
Mubama scored both goals in City’s 2-0 semi-final win over Manchester United and then scored the first in our 2-0 triumph over Southampton to see Ben Wilkinson’s EDS side lift the PL2 title for a record-breaking fourth time.
Everyone at Manchester City would like to wish Divin all the best on his loan stint with Stoke.
