Lenna Gunning-Williams and Ella Morris have been selected for England U23s duty, with Eleanor Heeps also receiving her maiden call-up as a training player for the upcoming internationals.
The trio was called-up to Head Coach Emma Coates’ 25-player squad on Wednesday (12 February) morning for their Under-23 Euro League fixtures against Germany and France, with Eleanor set to be involved as part of the wider training squad.
Since making her senior debut for the Club in November, keeping a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the Women’s League Cup, the young goalkeeper has featured in a further five games across all competitions.
Following her impressive performances between the sticks for us, she has been rewarded with her first call-up to the England youth set-up since Under-19s level.
Lenna retains her place in the squad after featuring in the last two camps in 2024, while Ella returns to the Young Lionesses squad after pulling out of the November international camp due to an injury.
Coates’ side will face Germany at Walsall’s Bescot Stadium on Thursday 20 February (7.30pm UK) before welcoming France to Lamex Stadium five days later (7.30pm UK).
