It had to be, didn't it?
Real Madrid faced a familiar name as Alvaro Morata returned to the Santiago Bernabeu wearing Milan colours. And once again, Los Blancos fell victim to one of their former players.
The Spaniard was allowed to dart into the box beyond four Madrid stars and buried a shot initially parried away by goalkeeper Andriy Lunin for 2-1.
And it's this club Morata officially loves to score against despite having two previous spells with them. He has seven goals in 13 games against Real Madrid, more than against anyone else.
To make matters worse for Real Madrid, they are officially the team who have conceded the most goals from former players in the entire history of the Champions League (13).
