AS Monaco’s Aleksandr Golovin (28) may miss the rest of the season with an injury, Adi Hütter has revealed in a press conference attended by Get French Football News.
Golovin has struggled with injuries since arriving at the Principality club back in 2018. However, those injuries had abated in recent seasons. Having missed several matches with an adductor injury this season, those injury issues have now returned. Last week, Hütter revealed that the playmaker was struggling with an adductor issue that would rule him out of the match against Le Havre AC, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
However, his absence may now be long-term. “He is out for the rest of the season, I think,” said the Monaco manager ahead of Saturday’s match against AS Saint-Étienne.
Thilo Kehrer may also miss the match against Les Verts. The German hit his knee during the draw against Le Havre and hasn’t trained this week, although Hütter hopes that he will train on Friday. “He is a question mark for Saturday,” confirmed the Monaco manager.
