Monaco duo Denis Zakaria and Christian Mawissa doubts to face Brest? | OneFootball

Club captain Denis Zakaria, and Christian Mawissa were absent from training this morning for AS Monaco. Both are doubts to face Stade Brestois on Saturday.

Monaco have almost a full squad at their disposal. The likes of Jordan Teze, Soungoutou Magasssa, and Kassoum Ouattara, who have all been sidelined with injuries in recent weeks, took part in the session, attended by Get French Football News, whilst Aleksandr Golovin and Folarin Balogun both made their long-awaited returns against OGC Nice last weekend.

However, there are question marks about Zakaria and Mawissa this weekend. Asked about their absence from training, Adi Hütter said that their “pains” were “nothing special”, evoking a general fatigue, perhaps linked to a heavy session on Wednesday. As a result, both worked in the gym on Thursday, two days before the visit to Brest. He added that the pair would be evaluated tomorrow and a decision then taken on their participation.
