Press reports have revealed that at least three MSL clubs are interested in signing former Kaizer Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe.

Hadebe joined FC Cincinnati of the MLS Eastern Conference in 2024 after a successful stint with Turkish club Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The player's contract with his current team is about to expire

The player's contract expires in December of this year, but the club has the option to extend it for an additional year. However, several clubs are also interested in signing the player.

While Houston Dynamo FC struggles near the bottom of the MLS Western Conference (12th place, 28 points from 25 games), their Zimbabwean center-back finds himself in demand from higher-flying clubs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC - currently enjoying a stellar season in second place with 45 points - emerges as a serious suitor for the experienced defender.

The 29-year-old Warrior has been a consistent presence this campaign, featuring in 19 matches across competitions (16 MLS appearances, 3 Leagues Cup). His North American journey began with Houston, where he made 56 appearances before his Turkish adventure. Now back in MLS, his leadership qualities shine through - recently captaining Zimbabwe against Burkina Faso in a transitional squad.

With 32 international caps and 4 goals, the former Kaizer Chiefs defender (39 appearances) is poised to anchor Zimbabwe's backline in crucial upcoming fixtures - the World Cup qualifiers and 2025 AFCON. His career path has come full circle since beginning at now-defunct Bantu Rovers before stints with Chicken Inn FC and Highlanders FC in his homeland.
