Mile Svilar confirms his love for Roma: “I hope to stay here for a long time.” | OneFootball

Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar spoke to Sky Sport ahead of the upcoming match with Bologna.

The Belgian shot-stopper discussed Claudio Ranieri’s impact on the team and touched upon his highly anticipated new contract with the Giallorossi.

“We are very happy to have won the derby but in the end we must move on. We go to Bologna to win which is fundamental for us at this moment.”

“The fans obviously give us a huge push at home but we must do the same job away from home. We have to improve and I think we will do it.”

“When Ranieri arrived we were in a tough spot. It was a difficult situation for us and the club.”

“Mister Ranieri brought serenity and we are doing much better than before and we must continue this way, since it is the right path. We must think ahead, because there is always the next game, and the one after that.”

“We as a group are all close and I think it has been seen in the last few weeks. We have regained the confidence that we lacked a bit before. We must continue on what we have been doing in the weeks because Roma deserves much more as a club, and the fans do too.”
