Milan Futuro v Torres, the third act. After two previous encounters in Sardinia - one in the league and another in the Coppa Italia - the Rossoneri are set to face the team based in Sassari again in what will be their first home match of 2025. The Diavolo have produced two of their best performances of the season against the Sardinians, and now they're hoping for a repeat to secure some very valuable points. Here is our Match Preview to introduce the clash.

LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO An important match awaits the Rossoneri, who are aiming for a big result against a team going well in the league. The aim is to come away with a home win, which has been missing since the 1-0 victory over Gubbio, and the Rossoneri know that three points would really help in their quest to move towards safety. With various players having returned from the Supercoppa in Riyadh, the matchday squad will depend on who is needed for the first team's match against Cagliari. No one is suspended, although Minotti is one booking away from suspension.

"Tomorrow we will face Torres for the third time, and I believe they are one of the most in-form teams in our group," said Coach Bonera on the eve of the match. "We will, as always, play the match with a serious attitude, attention, and a sense of responsibility. Many of the lads will still be involved with the first team and that is a source of great pride for us. This must act as a boost for all those who will play tomorrow with Milan Futuro. Seeing our work during the week, I'm sure that we'll have the right attitude and respect towards the opponent, but at the same time the competitive edge that I also saw in Carpi."

LATEST FROM TORRES The Sardinians have overcome their most difficult period of the season which saw them suffer four consecutive defeats across the league (Entella, SPAL and Ascoli) and Coppa Italia (where they were eliminated by the Rossoneri). They've since gone on to win three of their last four matches (drawing the other one), results that have seen them consolidate fourth place in the table. Last weekend, they came away with a significant 1-0 victory over Pescara, although the win was somewhat marred by a knee injury to captain Scotto, who will out for the next two months. Otherwise, no significant changes are expected, with Fischnaller (nine goals this campaign) likely to pose a threat. Masala is out through suspension, but Giorico is available.

"When you face Milan Futuro, you never know the team you'll be up against because they make a lot of changes," said Alfonso Greco in his pre-match press conference. "We'll need to have the right focus and can't leave anything to chance: the key in this division is consistency. The Rossoneri have plenty of talent in their ranks and deserve to be higher up the table. We'll need to produce a big performance."
