Milan Futuro began 2025 with a draw. At Stadio Cabassi, the home of Carpi, it ended 0-0. The league match wasn't overly thrilling but remained lively throughout. While the opposing side were better in the first half, the Rossoneri dominated the second half and cannot have any regrets, especially given the attempt from Stalmach which hit the crossbar. We deserved more. It was a solid performance, effective in defence with a clean sheet that had evaded the team for a month, and active in attack even though the goal eluded the team. Matchday 21 in Serie C allowed for a small step forward, reaching 17 points in the standings, moving slightly away from Sestri Levante (+1) and closing in on Lucchese (-2). However, it's still not enough to climb out of the danger zone. To give the season a decisive turn, victories are needed. However, this performance filled with commitment and sacrifice is a good starting point. It's worth underlining the debut of our new signing Magrassi and also the professional debut of the young Sala. Milan Futuro will be back in action on Sunday 12 January at 12:30 CET, hosting Torres in Solbiate Arno.

MATCH REPORT After a few seconds, Sia, set up by Liberali, created the first chance but couldn't convert. Puletto responded with a powerful shot from distance which served as a warning. Carpi appeared relaxed and proactive, while Milan Futuro found themselves chasing the game. However, in the 14th minute, they proved dangerous with an effort from Magni: a right-footed shot parried by the goalkeeper. The pattern continued, a hard-fought match with few real chances. In the 39th minute, Liberali shot from the edge of the area. In the 44th minute, Puletto took a free-kick from an inviting position, but it didn't go in. In stoppage time, Sandri went for power but his shot wasn't precise enough. Early in the second half, the Rossoneri attempted to make a statement, with Sandri's shot in the 48th minute. However, the attempt went over the bar. In the 51st minute, a counter attack from the Biancorossi threatened the Milan Futuro goal, but Magni managed to intercept ahead of Gerbi. The tempo of the match began to increase: Sia's header in the 60th minute and Saporetti's attempt in the 65th minute provided a scare as the ball narrowly missed the target. Sia fired a shot in the 72nd minute after a layoff but his attempt was blocked. In the 75th minute, the Diavolo nearly took the lead: Magni's cross found Stalmach, whose first-time strike crashed against the bar. Milan futuro pushed more: in the 76th minute Sorzi intercepted Magrassi, and Minotti's header in the 81st minute went just wide. Another chance in the 85th minute came as Fall played in Magrassi, who attempted a side-footed shot but his attempt was saved by Sorzi. The referee blew the final whistle.
