The final match of the first half of the season ended in defeat for Milan Futuro, after losing 2-1 against Vis at the Benelli in Pesaro. After a lifeless first half, the second half saw a lot more action with three goals. The Rossoneri managed to equalise through substitute Longo, who responded to Okoro's opening goal, but Cannavò's winning goal came three minutes from the end of the match. A harsh result for Bonera's side, who arguably deserved more (particularly in the first half). Bonera's side almost lamented the momentary 1-0 lead, after a foul on Nava in the area which went unnoticed by the referee.
It is worth underlining the positives from this afternoon. The result from this difficult match doesn't alter our position in the league - we stay third from bottom, and still within reach from 15th spot which would secure our safety from the Playout. Other positives included the defensive department, as the Rossoneri didn't give very much up to an opponent who are now in fourth position and on a streak of four consecutive wins. Furthermore, the team's mental and tactical resilience to overcome the deficit is a definite positive. There is a tough week ahead, the final one of 2024, with two home matches: firstly the Coppa Italia Quarter Final against Caldiero Terme, and then the league clash against Virtus Entella. Forza ragazzi!

MATCH REPORT The Rossoneri took to the field with personality and generosity from the first minute. In the second minute, Sandri tested Vuković with a left-footed shot from distance. Vuković was also alert to save Fall's attempted in the eleventh minute, as the Rossoneri forward only just missed Bozzolan's cross in the 18th minute. After the opening period, the home side grew into the game with surges forward from Orellana and Di Paola, but Bonera's side maintained the upper hand in a first half period which did not offer very much in the way of clear-cut chances. The last notable moment came in the injury time, as Pucciarelli's strike from 25 metres narrowly missed the target.
The home side made a change at the break, and the newly introduced Okoro almost opened the scoring in the 49th minute with a chip over Nava which narrowly missed the target. Vis Pesaro broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, with a goal from Okoro who tapped the ball into the back of the net after Nava went to ground following a collision with Paganini which went unnoticed by the referee. The Rossoneri pushed for an equaliser, but Nava was forced into a brilliant save to deny Paganini in the 65th minute. Milan Futuro didn't give up and after an attempted from Traorè in the 77th minute, the deserved equaliser arrived. Longo skilfully converted after Sia's header was deflected. In the latter stages, however, heartbreak struck: Cannavò's right footed curled effort in the 87th minute handed Vis Pesaro the lead. Milan Futuro couldn't find the equaliser in stoppage time, it ended 2-1.
