The future of Tammy Abraham is still unknown as the player’s loan at Milan winds to an end.
Although Milan are already looking for a striker to play alongside Santiago Gimenez, the position of the centre-forward in Milan is not a given.
According to Tuttosport, the final decision on the English striker will be up to the new Rossoneri sporting director.
Abraham’s salary of 5 million euros per season represents an obstacle.
To stay at Milan, therefore, Abraham would have to accept a reduction in salary in exchange for a longer contract.
Currently, the former Chelsea player is tied to Roma until 2027, but a possible agreement with Milan would tie him to the Rossoneri for four years.
The negotiation, however, is not simple: Roma’s request for the player is between 20 and 25 million euros, a figure considered excessive by Milan.
