Igli Tare confirms that Dusan Vlahovic and Rasmus Hojlund are ‘options’ for Milan as the Rossoneri target a new centre-forward for 2025-26.
Milan director Tare confirmed interest in Vlahovic and Hojlund on Sunday, before a Coppa Italia game between the Rossoneri and Bari.

“Hojlund is a good option for us. We’re evaluating him these days, but the transfer market is unpredictable,” Tare said via SempreMilan.
“We know we have to intervene in that position, and we also know they need to be players who can bring something extra to this group.”
When asked about Vlahovic, Tare replied: “This is also an option, a striker has to arrive.”
Milan have made several changes in defence and midfield this summer, but are yet to sign one centre-forward who would battle with Santiago Gimenez for a starting spot in attack.
Hojlund was not even on the bench on Sunday, in Manchester United’s 1-0 loss against Arsenal.

Rafael Leao has been used as a centre-forward during the pre-season, offering convincing performances and scoring several goals.
The Portuguese even netted his first goal in the first official game of the season against Bari last night, but was forced off the pitch shortly afterwards due to a calf injury.
Milan will make their 2025-26 Serie A debut this coming Saturday, hosting newly promoted side Cremonese at San Siro.
