Christian Mosquera has been attached to Milan throughout the January window and more recently to Juventus, which are looking for a defender, but he’ll finish the season at Valencia, his agent Sergio Barila told Tuttomercatoweb’s Mirko Di Natale.

“He doesn’t want to leave during this window. He’s only thinking about helping his team reach its goals. A few sides would like to sign him in January, he’s focused on his own one. We’ll analyze the situation and mull over his future later on. He has a year on his deal. Now it’s not the time to speak about other clubs out of respect for Valencia.”

Los Che are currently 19th in La Liga standings and recently changed their coach searching for a jolt. They aren’t too distant from teams above them. They’ll need to come to terms with Mosquera on a new deal in the coming months, or his departure will be certain in the summer.

Milan will sign Kyle Walker, and he’ll be used both as a right-back and in the middle. They might not seek another man even if they sold one of their one. Instead, the Old Lady is trying to negotiate better terms with Chelsea for Renato Veiga. They have also started pursuing Udinese’s Thomas Kristensen.

Our Take on Mosquera

He’ll be a hot commodity in the summer given his age, upside, and contractual situation. Milan could have taken a shot in this session since they have a few established options he could grow behind, while Juventus need somebody readier, although they don’t mind investing in youngsters and waiting for them.
