Michael Kayode’s agent on decision to join Brentofrd: “It was the best choice” | OneFootball

Michael Kayode joined Brentford permanently from Fiorentina some weeks ago and this came after he spent an impressive initial loan stint at the London club.

The defender wasn’t handed enough game time at Florence in the first half of the previous season but the move to Brentford has paid off.

His agent Claudio Vigorelli has now spoken to Tuttomercatoweb about the decision to join the Bees and he made it clear that it was best choice Kayode could make.

He said: “It was the best choice, with his athletic skills in the Premier League we are convinced that he can continue to grow and that he can also return to the national team. Pioli? I am happy for him, he has the right characteristics to coach Fiorentina.”

Kayode did face injury and fitness problems early in his stint at Brentford but he grew into his role under Thomas Frank, with his most impressive performance coming against Manchester United.

Frank has now joined Tottenham and now, Kayode will have the challenge of impressing under new manager Keith Andrews.
