Jonathan Rowe’s (22) move from Norwich City to Olympique de Marseille may only have been made permanent earlier this summer, however, the Ligue 1 side are open to selling the winger during the current transfer window, according to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
Rowe had a mixed first season at Marseille, but nonetheless, he made 30 appearances for the club (three goals, four assists). He is also coming off the back of a strong showing with England at the Euro U21 championships.
However, the Englishman is far from untransferable at OM. Hawkins understands that the Ligue 1 side, who will compete in the UEFA Champions League this season, are not opposed to a sale should a strong offer arrive.
That may yet happen. Hawkins adds that there is notable interest from two Turkish clubs: Besiktas and Fenerbahçe. Rowe may, therefore, be on the move once again this summer.
