“It’s about the mental and physical preparation you can care for in a centre like this,” said the former Roma star.

“Here, I can do exercises that were not possible before, but over the last few years, I could also put into practice some advice from big champions I’ve shared the dressing room with, like Ibrahimovic, Thiago Motta, Thiago Silva and Maxwell. They’ve been an example, and now it’s my turn to pass my experience on to the younger players.”

Ibrahimovic, a current advisor of Milan owners RedBird, played at PSG from 2012 until 2016, scoring 156 goals in 180 matches. He’s the third-best scorer in the Ligue 1 giants’ history, below Edinson Cavani (200) and Kylian Mbappé (256).

Thiago Motta, a former Italy international and the current Juventus coach spent the last six years of his playing career in Paris from 2012 until 2018. The ex-midfielder scored 12 goals in 231 games with the French club, winning 16 trophies, including five Ligue 1 titles.

Marquinhos played for Roma in 2012-13 and is the current PSG captain.
