Marcus Rashford has turned down approaches from three Saudi Arabian clubs this month, reports have revealed.
Manchester United have made Rashford available for transfer this month after seeing new head coach Ruben Amorim drop him for four consecutive matchday squads in December, but his high wages of over £300,000 per week are likely to limit the number of suitors in January.
The Saudi Pro League is a feasible destination and The Times state three clubs have offered Rashford the chance to pocket an annual salary of £35m, which equates to £675,000 per week, but the United forward has brushed them away.
Central to Rashford's thought process is his desire to return to the England squad and so, if he is to leave United this month, he wants to join a competitive side which will boost his profile in the eyes of new England boss Thomas Tuchel.
It is for this reason that Rashford has also ruled out a move to Turkiye.
Rashford is not believed to be pushing for an exit, despite admitting his desire for a new challenge. He recently lashed out at reports claiming he had enlisted a new agency to facilitate a January transfer.
Instead, Rashford is said to be working hard behind the scenes to force his way back into Amorim's thinking, with staff believed to have been impressed by his response to the situation.
Nevertheless, United will consider offers for Rashford as they face the need to sell players before they can spend in the January transfer window. Loan moves, which would remove a large portion of Rashford's salary from the wage books, will also be considered.
