Rashford went to the ground in pain after Ronald Araujo's challenge in the 81st minute.

He needed treatment but, fortunately, was able to continue.

Rashford stayed on the pitch for seven more minutes before being replaced by Scott McTominay.

It was a great night for United but it wasn't all great news as Rashford posted a cryptic post on his Instagram story which suggested that he may well have a problem.

He posted a picture of himself with his boot off after the game, accompanied with a 'face with head-bandage' emoji.

Fan footage was also taken of Rashford as he left Old Trafford after the game.

The Man Utd man appeared to have a slight limp as he made his way out of the stadium.

It would be a big miss for United should Rashford miss the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle on Sunday.

The 25-year-old has been nothing short of electric this season.

Rashford has scored 24 goals in all competitions in the 2022/23 campaign, making it his most prolific season in front of goal to date.

16 of his 24 goals have come after the World Cup break.

United are looking to win their first trophy since 2017 at Wembley this weekend.
