Manchester United unveil new Adidas third kit which 'evokes iconic moments and carefree vibes'

The black-and-yellow design is described as “celebration” of the club’s DNA

Manchester United have unveiled their new third kit for the 2025-26 season.

An all-black base with yellow accents, there is a “subtle yet striking club devil motif” woven into the shirt, which is more than a nod to the club’s Red Devils nickname and “celebration” of the club’s DNA.

The collar and cuffs feature yellow and blue in what has been described as a “fresh twist to a classic silhouette.”

The adidas logo takes the Trefoil design, in a move which the sports clothing giant believes is “acknowledging the rising role of fashion in today’s game.”

A statement reads: “Adidas and Manchester United today launch the club’s Third Jersey for the 2025/26 season, a bold reimagining rooted in '90s nostalgia. The kit features a striking black base with yellow design details, evoking iconic moments, carefree vibes and the spirit of a simpler era.”

It adds: “After last year’s celebrated reintroduction of the iconic Trefoil logo on the third jersey, adidas is bringing the Trefoil back once again, honoring its historic legacy in the sport as well as acknowledging the rising role of fashion in today’s game.”
