Manchester United are set to receive around £13.6m in transfer revenue as part of sell-on fees.
Ruben Amorim’s side have struggled to offload unwanted assets this summer, with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Jadon Sancho yet to find new clubs.
The lack of progress on sales has hindered the club’s recruitment but the Red Devils are set to receive a welcome boost from deals happening across Europe.
United included sell-on clauses into the sales of Anthony Elanga and Alvaro Carreras, each of whom are closing in on transfers.
Elanga is nearing a £55m transfer to Newcastle United from Nottingham Forest. United are entitled to 15% of the £40m profit Forest will make (£6m) on the Swedish winger.
A further £7.6m is expected to be earned once Alvaro Carreras completes his transfer to Real Madrid from Benfica.
The Portuguese side are set to make a £38m profit on the Spanish left-back. 20% of that fee will be owed to the Old Trafford side.
