After ‘several months of talks’ the PSG outcast has made his decision

Gianluigi Donnarumma has agreed personal terms with Manchester City.

PSG have already signed his replacement in the form of Lucas Chevalier for around £50million, who will make his debut against Spurs.

Luis Enrique, PSG head coach, has since confirmed that he is looking for a different profile of goalkeeper, hence the decision to omit the Italy international. Donnarumma soon after took to social media to bid his goodbye to PSG and the club’s fans.

And Donnarumma has not wasted any time finding pastures news.

According to French daily L'Equipe, the goalkeeper’s agent, Enzo Raiola, has been in talks with both Man City and Manchester United for several months.

Donnarumma has now spoken to Pep Guardiola and made his choice. Personal terms have been agreed and City look set to sign the player as long as Ederson can be shipped out. A transfer fee has been reported at anywhere between £25m and £45m.

United's struggles to sell Andre Onana appear to have been their undoing.

City have already spent almost £40m on James Trafford this summer, so need Ederson to leave before making progress on signing the Italy captain. Stefan Ortega has been free to leave all summer.
