The forward line is one of the areas of their team that FC Barcelona are looking to strengthen in the upcoming summer transfer window. Their current attacking trio of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal has had a very good season, but the Blaugranes want more quality depth for this attacking line for the next season.

Several high-profile names have already been linked with the Catalan side for this purpose. In fact, the Barcelona Sporting Director, Deco, himself admitted of his affinity for two wingers in particular, the Liverpool forward Luis Diaz and the Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford.

The Colombian star is reported to be the top priority target for the Blaugranes this summer. However, the Englishman might be the more easily obtained target among these two players.

This seems to be so based on a report from Mundo Deportivo, which claims that Rashford’s sale is one of Manchester United’s priorities for the upcoming summer, as they look to overhaul their team after a forgettable season.

The Englishman wants a new challenge

The Red Devils are looking to sell the forward for around €40 million, and his sale would allow them to get more reinforcements for Ruben Amorim ahead of the next season. Furthermore, the Premier League side is looking to sell two other high-profile names as well, i.e., Jadon Sancho and Antony.

The English winger is neither a part of the Portuguese manager’s plans, nor he wants to remain at Aston Villa, the side where he spent the last half of this season on loan.

In fact, the Manchester United academy graduate is now looking for a new challenge in his career, and Barcelona is the destination that appeals to him the most. But irrespective of the destination, Marcus Rashford is expected to be one of the big names that will change sides in the upcoming summer transfer window.
