Red Devils lose England star during dramatic Man City win
After a mixed start to life in charge of the Red Devils, Amorim’s side produced a stunning late turnaround to beat Manchester City 2-1 on Sunday.
Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo scored quick-fire late goals at the Etihad Stadium to claim all three points for United and raise confidence for the week ahead.
United travel to Tottenham in a Carabao Cup quarter-final before hosting Bournemouth in their final game before Christmas.
Another huge week awaits for Amorim, so here’s a look at the latest Manchester United injuries.
Mason Mount’s frustrating time of things continued on Sunday after he was forced off just 13 minutes into the derby.
"He [Mount] fits our style,” said Amorim after the game.
“He's a very good player inside and also outside the pitch. The type of character we want in this team and the club want. He made the movement and stretched his leg, he felt something. But we need him."
Potential return date: Unknown

Potential return date: December 2024 or January 2025

His return date remains unclear.
