Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with Osimhen for the past two transfer windows, and with the summer window still months away, speculation about a potential move is already picking up. However, Manchester United are being urged to sign the Nigerian striker this summer.
Now playing for Galatasaray, Osimhen has rediscovered the form that made him one of the standout players of the 2022-23 season, attracting interest from top clubs across Europe.
Osimhen has been in excellent form this season, scoring 26 goals and providing five assists in 30 appearances across all competitions. According to GIVE ME SPORT, Manchester United have made him a priority target and could trigger his €75 million release clause this summer.
Turkish journalist Yagız Sabuncuoglu recently reported that both Manchester United and PSG have made official approaches for Osimhen. The two clubs have submitted verbal offers regarding his salary and contract terms, with plans to activate his release clause. Meanwhile, Galatasaray manager Amorim is also eager to bring him into the squad.

Manchester United are looking to strengthen their center-forward options this summer, and journalist Laurie Whitwell hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho for Osimhen.
On the Inside United podcast, Whitwell shared that Manchester United are keen on bringing Osimhen to Old Trafford. With Napoli previously showing interest in Garnacho, a swap deal could be on the table.
“In terms of what they want from a striker, I think Osimhen would fit that bill,” Whitwell said (h/t GIVE ME SPORT).
“So I wonder what happens there. The only thing is, Napoli, how much would they want for him? And would some kind of transfer swap make some kind of sense? Obviously, they’ve been interested in Alejandro Garnacho already. I wouldn’t rule out something like that potentially happening.”
