Paris Saint-Germain have been tracking Victor Osimhen for a while, and with the summer transfer window approaching, speculation about his future is intensifying.
Currently at Galatasaray, the Nigerian striker has regained the form that made him one of the standout players of the 2022-23 season. With 28 goals and five assists in 32 appearances across all competitions this year, he’s once again attracting the attention of Europe’s top clubs.
According to GIVE ME SPORT, Manchester United are growing increasingly worried about PSG’s pursuit, with the French club reportedly leading the race.
PSG are in a solid financial position to meet Osimhen’s wage demands and the £63 million asking price. The report also mentions that Chelsea and United view PSG as their main competition for the striker.

ESPN’s Rob Dawson reports that Osimhen’s salary demands could reach around £9.4 million a year after tax. With Manchester United looking to reduce their wage bill this summer, Liam Delap appears to be a more likely target due to the lower salary involved.
With transfer rumors swirling around the Nigerian international ahead of the summer window, John Obi Mikel shared his excitement about the possibility of Osimhen joining Chelsea.
“Listen, it will be really sad if we don’t get a player who supported us a kid and wants to play for this Football Club,” the former Chelsea midfielder said on his podcast.
“His idol is Drogba, he will want to break records, win us trophies, get us back to the top, come for Drogba’s records. I’m telling you that would be his mission.
“If the club chose not to pursue it.. then well fair enough, good luck to them, but the good thing about it is we know where we left it, we can literally pick the phone up and get him straight in the door. Get him in!”
