Wolverhampton Wanderers secured Matheus Cunha to a long-term deal, despite heavy interest from other clubs during the winter transfer window.
Even with that commitment, rumors about his future persist. Cunha has become an important player for Wolves, impressing in various attacking roles and consistently delivering on the field.
According to Fichajes, the Brazilian has excelled whether playing as an attacking midfielder, second striker, or center-forward—versatility that has reportedly attracted interest from top clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.
Wolves clearly value him, but reports suggest they could consider offers exceeding €70 million. Back in January, Sky Sports News reported that Nottingham Forest made a club-record bid of around £60 million.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Cunha’s agent has traveled to England and already met with Manchester United to discuss a potential move. The forward is open to joining United, regardless of whether the club secures European football next season.
Moreover, Football Insider reports that Cunha would prefer a move to Liverpool this summer, but Arsenal and Manchester United are also monitoring him.
With speculation mounting about his potential move, Cunha recently spoke out about his future, hinting that a summer departure could be likely.
“I had a lot of offers but I wouldn’t feel well if I had done it,” Cunha told The Guardian. “Some things you can’t control but I couldn’t leave the club in the middle of the season, in a difficult situation, in the relegation zone.
“Now, we’re close to achieving our goal [of staying up]. But I’ve made it clear that I need to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for big things. I have potential.”
