Manchester United are monitoring AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez as manager Ruben Amorim has made strengthening the position a top priority, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Red Devils also have Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies on their radar, but landing him could prove tricky and they have other targets in mind.
Hernandez has been regularly linked with Man United, and a move for him could be seriously considered given the fitness issues of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
The 27-year-old France international is one of the best attacking full-backs in the world, having won the Champions League with Real Madrid and Serie A with Milan.
The Man United target has made the Serie A Team of the Year four times, with 31 goals and 41 assists to his name in six seasons with the Italian club.
Hernandez can also play as a centre-back and would fit perfectly into the formation as he can also feature as a wing-back.
His attacking abilities would be perfect for Amorim, and landing him will not cost the earth due to his contract situation.
Man United need quality players if they are serious about challenging for the Premier League title, and landing such a player would be huge for them.
Hernandez will not be short of top suitors next summer, and the Red Devils may need to qualify for the Champions League to have a chance of pipping fierce competition to his services.
The presence and charm of Amorim could attract some of the best players to Man United, and fans will hope that is the case as the current squad is in dire need of an upgrade.
