Rúben Amorim’s choice to leave Alejandro Garnacho out of last month’s Manchester derby has raised questions about the winger’s future at Manchester United.

The Daily Mail reports that Garnacho is no longer seen as “untouchable” at Old Trafford, with top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, showing interest.

While a transfer doesn’t seem imminent, Manchester United could consider offers of around £70 million. However, clubs like Atletico Madrid and Juventus might struggle to meet that valuation at this stage.

Journalist Steve Kay recently revealed that Tottenham has made a serious inquiry about Garnacho’s availability. Meanwhile, CaughtOffside reported that Atletico Madrid—his former club—along with PSG and Juventus, are keeping a close eye on the situation.

United may be open to a sale for the right price, but Atletico and Juventus could find it challenging to match the club’s demands.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli have a meeting scheduled with Manchester United as negotiations for th 20-year-old forward are in “full swing.”

In the latest edition of CaughtOffside’s Daily Briefing, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared that Chelsea are interested in the Manchester United winger and mentioned that Napoli are also in the mix.

“Keep an eye out as well on the situation of Alejandro Garnacho,” Romano said. “There is interest from Napoli, with Antonio Conte calling the player and pushing to have the Argentine, but it’s very expensive and it looks difficult for Napoli.

“Also, Chelsea are there – they made an enquiry last week, and this week they will have more contacts to understand the situation of Garnacho. So, Chelsea and Napoli are interested, but Man United are very clear – it has to be a very big proposal or the player will stay at the club in this January’s transfer window.”
