Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to monitor Olympiakos teenager Charalmpos Kostoulas in a recent Europa League fixture.
While the Red Devils were busy in their own EL contest against Viktoria Plzen, the club’s scouts were seemingly in Greece, watching the 17-year-old in action against FC Twente, reports The Daily Mail.
The teenager is a young bomber who cemented himself as one of the most promising starlets at the club after leading the U19 side to UEFA Youth League triumph last term. This season, he became a regular feature with the senior squad, despite his tender age.
Therefore, many believe it’s only a matter of time before we see the Greek youngster ply his trade at a bigger club. But which side will prevail in the race?
As the source explains, Man United isn’t the only suitor keeping tabs on Kostoulas. Serie A duo Juventus and Fiorentina have also scouted the player recently, and the same goes for Bundelisga side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Moreover, the report mentions interest from Bayern Munich, albeit the German giants have yet to send their scouts to watch the teenager in action.
This season, Kostoulas has made 10 appearances in the Greek league thus far, contributing with two goals and an assist. He has also made five outings in the Europa League, two as a starter.
Moreover, the young bomber’s contract with Olympiakos is set to expire in June 2026, which suggests that the Athens-based giants won’t have much leverage on the player’s future come the summer.
So it remains to be seen if Man United will be able to add the young to their attacking ranks, which includes Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee, and of course, Marcus Rashford, whose future is looking increasingly distant from Old Trafford.
