The race for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush has heated up following the 25-year-old’s impressive performances in the Bundesliga this season. However, one club has reportedly made it clear they are not willing to pay over the odds for the Egyptian international.
According to Fussball News, Frankfurt is open to selling Marmoush if their €60 million (£50 million or $64.8 million) asking price is met. In addition, PSG scouts were recently spotted at Frankfurt’s UEFA Europa League clash against Midtjylland, as reported by The Mirror.
Meanwhile, Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna revealed that Manchester City have made a contract offer to Marmoush, with the player expressing interest in the club’s project. However, discussions with Eintracht Frankfurt have yet to take place.
Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Arsenal are also monitoring the situation, but Marmoush is currently leaning toward a move to City. This latest update comes after Marmoush dismissed transfer rumors, stating that he is not focused on a move at this time.

Despite a report from Foot Mercato, Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported on Saturday that there are currently no negotiations between Eintracht Frankfurt and Manchester City over a potential transfer for Marmoush.
Furthermore, Eintracht have not received any offers for the player, nor have they heard from Marmoush indicating any intention to move in the coming days.
The Egypt international has been in outstanding form this season, netting 13 goals and providing seven assists in just 15 Bundesliga appearances, solidifying his place as one of the league’s top performers.
