Two more Premier League games took place on Sunday to finish out the fifth round of matches.
Hereâs what went down.
Scorers: Haaland 9âČ, Stones 90+8âČ; Calafiori 22âČ, Gabriel 45+1
Sent off: Trossard
Manchester City reclaimed the Premier Leagueâs top spot after salvaging a late 2-2 draw with 10-man Arsenal.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring with his 100th goal for the reigning champions with a surging run and finish.
City suffered an early setback following that incident as Rodri limped out with a suspected knee injury and had to be replaced by Mateo KovaÄiÄ.
Within minutes of the midfielderâs departure, the Gunners levelled through a quickly-taken free kick from which Riccardo Calafiori unleashed a powerful strike.
Both sides enjoyed chances to take the lead with Jérémy Doku flashing a shot narrowly wide of the target while Leandro Trossard prodded an effort over the bar.
But Gabriel seized the initiative in first-half added time by powering home Bukayo Sakaâs corner to the far post with a towering header.
Deep in added time, Trossard was sent off for a second bookable offence for kicking the ball away in frustration after charging into Bernardo Silva.
City began the second half in the ascendancy with RĂșben Dias, Manuel Akanji, Kyle Walker and JoĆĄko Gvardiol all taking aim at David Rayaâs goal after the restart.
The Arsenal stopperâs resolve remained untested until the 98th minute, when substitute John Stones pounced to level with a rebounded strike after a scramble at a corner.
Scorers: Hinshelwood 42âČ, Welbeck 45âČ; Wood (PEN) 13âČ, Sosa 70âČ
Sent off: Gibbs-White
Nottingham Forest held Brighton in an eventful 2-2 draw at the Amex Stadium.
Simon Adingra forged the hostsâ first opening of the game by flashing the ball across the face of goal from a tight angle.
Forest were awarded a penalty after Carlos Baleba brought down Morgan Gibbs-White in the area, allowing Chris Wood to convert.
The Seagulls struck back shortly before half-time when Jack Hinshelwood met Jan Paul van Heckeâs cross with a bullet header.
Three minutes later, they took the lead courtesy of Danny Welbeckâs well-drilled free kick to leave Matz Sels rooted to the spot.
Midway through the second half, Forest pulled themselves level through RamĂłn Sosa slotting home from fellow substitute Jota Silvaâs cutback.
But the visitors were reduced to ten men after Morgan Gibbs-White received his marching orders for a challenge on JoĂŁo Pedro.
Fabian HĂŒrzeler and Nuno EspĂrito Santo were also red carded following the incident as both sides saw out the game managerless.
Little continues to separate the teams in the Premier League table, with only goal difference seeing Brighton above eighth-placed Forest.
