The partnership between Mama Diop and Olympique de Marseille officially comes to an end this Thursday, July 10, 2025. After three seasons with the club, the 30-year-old Senegalese forward departs on a high note, having netted over 40 goals in a Marseille shirt.

Currently competing in the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco with Senegal, Mama Diop now finds herself unattached. The news was announced earlier today by Olympique de Marseille on social media. "A player who has always put the team first, playing a key role in helping the blue and white side return to the top level. After three seasons in Olympique de Marseille colors and more than 40 goals scored, our Senegalese international leaves the club with her head held high," the Marseille club wrote.

Over her three seasons in Marseille, the Guéréo native found the net 44 times in 69 appearances. She played a major role in OM's promotion to D1 Arkema, scoring 10 goals in 19 matches during the 2024/25 campaign in the women's D2. For now, Mama Diop's next destination remains unknown. The striker is fully focused on the remainder of the continental competition with Senegal.
