Real Madrid’s win over Mallorca was their third under Xabi Alonso in La Liga in as many games.
It helped Los Blancos keep their perfect record and showed that they have an attack strong enough to pull off a comeback even when down.
The 2-1 scoreline that the game finished with is kind on Mallorca, for Real Madrid should have had a whole lot more to their name had the officiating been better on the night.
After all, there was one particular incident that went against the men in white which has again raised questions on the refereeing.
A controversial moment that arose during the game last night was when Arda Guler unfairly had a goal ruled out for a handball, when in reality, his arm was only protecting him and not making his body bigger in any capacity.
Having the goal ruled out for handball, thus, made fans across the globe and the Real Madrid dressing room flare up in anger as they claimed an agenda against them by the referee.

Now, Mallorca player Sergi Darder has come out to speak on the issue and surprisingly sided with the Real Madrid star on the topic stating that it was never a handball to begin with.
“Arda Güler’s goal? For me, it’s never a handball,” he said (h/t RM4Arab).
When asked to elaborate on why he thought so, he said, Because of the clear rule we have, let’s leave it as it is.”
Real Madrid will not dive too deep into the injustice they faced on the night for it did not alter the result.
They took three points home regardless of Guler’s goal and will be happy with their start to the season.
