The Baggies began the campaign in excellent fashion last weekend, coming from behind to beat QPR 3-1 at Loftus Road.

However, a completely changed starting XI was then knocked out of the Carabao Cup after a 2-1 defeat to League Two side Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night.

A summer signing from Brommapojkarna in Sweden, Torbjorn Heggem enjoyed an impressive first appearance in the Championship on Saturday, coping well with the QPR wide threats and assisting the opening goal, so he ought to be in a position to feature from the start in this one.

Centre-back: Semi Ajayi

Now into his sixth season with West Brom, Semi Ajayi remains a regular feature at the centre of the Baggies' defence, and should again start in that role again on Saturday afternoon.

Centre-back: Kyle Bartley

Another long-serving figure at the heart of this defence, Kyle Bartley got the nod to start last weekend with Paddy McNair still getting up to speed, and the 33-year-old could be a good bet to get the nod from the start on Saturday, which would see him face one of his former clubs.

Right-back: Darnell Furlong

Still West Brom's standout option on the right of defence, Darnell Furlong remains the obvious option to start in this role once again at Elland Road.

Alex Mowatt has seen his career with the Baggies enjoy a resurgence since the start of the last season, and he will surely be keen to feature here against the club where he began his senior career, making over 100 appearances in all competitions.

Another regular feature for the Baggies throughout his time with the club, John Swift is another whose attacking threat and experience at this level means he will surely keep his place in the side for this one.

After a breakthrough campaign with the West Brom first-team last season, Tom Fellows picked up where he left off against QPR with another assist, continuing the form that should ensure he gets another Championship start under his belt on Saturday.

After such a frustrating debut campaign with the Baggies last season amid a string of injury issues, Josh Maja made the perfect start this time round with his match-winning hat-trick at QPR, that surely means he will once again lead the line for West Brom against Leeds.
