Brentford today completed the signing of young Dutch midfielder Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord, and Brentford fans will no doubt be excited when they check out the 20-year-old's highlight reel.

Tipped as a future star since he was handed his Feyenoord debut by Arne Slot at just 16 years old back in 2021, Milambo has perhaps not hit the level of superstardom some were expecting at the outset of his career, but three goals in last season's Champions League highlighted his ability to deliver at the top level and there are a couple of eye-catching moments that Bees fans will hope he can recreate under new manager Keith Andrews next season.

See you later, Griezmann!

The first show-stopping moment to highlight came in the 2023 Champions League when Milambo switched feet so quickly he left Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann for dead. Receiving the ball in a dangerous area near the edge of the box, Milambo produced a flawless Cruyff turn that completely wrong-footed the French international.

Taxi for Otamendi!

The second audacious moment to highlight from Milambo's back catalogue in the Champions League would be the first of his two goals against Benfica in last season's edition of the competition. Receiving the ball on the edge of the box, the Netherlands Under-21 international jigged into the area and cheekily threaded the ball through Nicolas Otamendi's legs before slamming home a low finish. No doubt the Argentine World Cup winner was not chuffed!

The quality to produce such moments at the highest level, suggest Milambo has the talent to make an impression for Brentford in the Premier League next season - and the young Dutchman becomes the Bees' second major summer signing after Caoimhin Kelleher's arrival from Liverpool.
