Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique spoke at a press conference on Saturday ahead of his side's Ligue 1 Matchday 15 clash with Olympique Lyonnais.
'Salzburg was a difficult match to prepare for, because it was the Champions League and it was away from home. And we needed points. We played a complete game - we're very happy with what we did there, and we need to keep up the good work.'
'We know our opponents well; they are PSG's historic rivals. They have a glorious past; they're an historic club in the league. It's going to be a tough game because they're a team that play the ball well. I remember this from last season, in the league and in the Coupe de France final. They're on a positive trajectory, both in Ligue 1 and in Europe. But this kind of game generates a lot of ambition in us to put on a great performance and rise to the occasion. Olympique Lyonnais are very dangerous when they have the ball - they have some very high calibre individuals.'
'The aim is for the team we field tomorrow to attack and defend as a unit, and to win this match as a team. It doesn't matter who wins the match. The name of the player who scores isn't important. We win as a team, and that's what I've been telling my players from the start.'
'My aim is to get all the players out of their comfort zone. Playing time is one indicator, but we want all the players to always give more. We have the same approach with all the players, even Achraf, who is very confident and playing very well at the moment. The aim that I have, alomng with with my staff, is for the whole team to become better. The players will have to evolve in their game and their positioning over the course of the season, according to the specific needs and requirements of the team.'
'With a schedule as intense as the one we have at the moment, we're not yet thinking about the Club World Cup, but we got a great draw and it's a competition I'm looking forward to. We'll have time to analyse our level and that of our future opponents in due course!'
'The level in training is going up, and the level of our performances is going up too. I'm having the best season of my career in terms of statistics. I don't know how long it will take us to be at our best, but I'm very happy with what I'm seeing. We're on the right track and I have maximal confidence in my players, so I'm going to keep trying to get the best out of them!'
'Lucas is an unusual case. When a player is out for six or seven months... it takes time to come back physically. But I've never seen anything like that with him. Obviously, we can't play him for 90 minutes, but we've already given him some game time, against Salzburg. His attitude is unbelievable, he could already be playing, and fit in perfectly as this new season unfolds.'
